I work privately with founders, owners, and senior principals navigating decisions where technical complexity, financial exposure, and human stakes converge — and where the cost of poor judgment is irreversible.
Positioning
My role is to provide clear, independent judgment when the situation is politically sensitive, personally isolating, or simply too consequential to think through with people who have a stake in the outcome.
This is not consulting, coaching, or advisory theater. There are no frameworks, no deliverables, and no consensus to be managed. The work is direct, discreet, and conducted entirely in confidence.

Background
My judgment has been formed inside environments where accuracy was non-negotiable and the consequences of error were financial, legal, or reputational — not theoretical. I have investigated financial crime and forensic fraud at institutional scale, led technology organisations through transformation and regulatory scrutiny, and advised principals in high-risk situations where independence and discretion were the only things that made the engagement possible.
I have founded and operated companies at the intersection of FinTech, professional services, and the public sector — sitting in the chair where the decision is made, not advising from outside it. I hold advanced degrees in informatics and strategy. My published work spans innovation theory, knowledge systems, and the structural patterns of how organisations fail and recover.
The through-line across this work is the ability to see clearly in complex, contested, high-consequence situations — and to say so directly.
Engagement
I work on a private retainer with a small number of clients at any given time. Access is direct. Continuity is part of what makes the work useful.
Most relationships begin through referral and continue quietly over extended periods. I accept a limited number of new conversations each year.
